Terms of use

Service
efímero lets users upload files and share them through temporary links. Anyone with the link can download the file while it is active.
Allowed use
You must not upload, publish, store, send, transmit, distribute, link to or otherwise make available to third parties any illegal or unlawful content, including but not limited to: material that infringes intellectual property or other third-party rights, content that violates privacy, reputation or image rights, threats, harassment, fraud, impersonation, malware, harmful code, tools intended for computer abuse, illegal sexual content, child exploitation material, advocacy or incitement of violence, terrorism, hatred or discrimination, and any material whose possession, distribution or access is prohibited by applicable law. You must also not upload files that you are not entitled to share.
Availability
The service is provided without a guarantee of permanent availability. Files may stop being available after expiry, due to technical errors or security measures.
Private service and no prior review
Files are shared through private links and efímero does not review, monitor or validate in advance the content that users upload, send, transmit or share. The service acts as a technical tool for temporary hosting and link generation.
User responsibility
The person who uploads, sends, transmits or shares a file is responsible for the content, for having the necessary rights and authorisations, for complying with applicable law and for deciding who receives the link. Whoever receives or downloads a file is responsible for their own use of that content. To the extent permitted by law, efímero will not be liable for user-provided content where it has no actual knowledge that the content is unlawful or infringes third-party rights.
Removal or blocking
If efímero receives a sufficiently substantiated notice, obtains actual knowledge of potential unlawfulness or receives a request from a competent authority, it may delete the file, block the link, prevent access or cooperate with authorities where appropriate.
Changes
These terms may be updated to reflect the real operation of the service, the hosting provider or future monetisation options.
